Lasse Spang Olsen has got a reputation for being the cheeky boy in the Danish film. He began as a stuntman in Erik Clausen’s “Rocking Silver” (1983) and since then he has become an icon on falling ladders and head-on collisions in Danish reels. A testimony of his excellence is his participation in Lars von Trier’s “The Element of Crime” and the Swedish Martin Beck-film “Stockholm Marathon” (1984). However, Lasse Spang Olsen soon found out that wanted to do more than coordinate stunts and after a few initial exercise in short films he had his debut in 1995 with the screen version of Anders Bodelsen’s children’s book “Operation Cobra”. His breakthrough came in 1999 with ”In China they eat dogs” and the blockbuster “Old Men in New Cars” (2002). Filmography: |
